After removing the chrome molding from my 70 Ford pick up a while back I found rust holes behind the molding. So I order some lower half door skins for both doors even though I didn't need to go up that high for the small holes. The new skins, goes up to the bottom body line on the doors. I fugured that would be easier to hide the seam if it went to the body line. I was gonna weld it in to place but a freind told me to just use the sheet metal glue and then I don't have to worry about warpage of the sheet metal, from the heat of the welder. Can anyone give me some advise or tips on the sheet metal glue. Like how long does it take to set up and can I buy it from summit or do I have to get it from a body shop supplier. I already have the skins in from LMC trucks and they wrap around the lips of the lower doors. Thanks for any help guys.
