I'm 100% with Roger on this and can relate to the feeling of responsibility of anybody getting burnt on my exhaust. Whenever I have my T out in public and I know the exhaust are hot, I stand around my car until I can safely run the back of my hand over a header pipe and that way I know that if some kid or an adult who knows no better gets to close, they will not end up with a burn. I learnt this by watching a kid prop his rubber soled jandal up on the side pipe and it melted onto the pipe. What a curse to get off without damaging the chrome. As for the noise we have a police force that would just love to hound the hell out of a person using a car with excessive noise and if one gets caught too many times they, the police, can impound your car, and if the owner still pushes the boundaries, the car can be crushed.
