    Have you seen the the inside of the muffler blanks that are used in side pipes? They are restrictive and create a lot of turbulence. Magnaflows and Dynamax Ultraflows (which I run) flow much more efficiently. Check out this link:

    I read the whole link and nothing was said about glass packs being more restrictive than other mufflers.
    This is not my first muscle car{or Hot Rod},,,,I think I know what is best for my rides performance but thanks for the advice,,I am going to install them and see how it runs,,if I don't like them,,off they go and the stock pipes go back on!!!
