No law says you can't move the radiator forward a little. Cut up the core support if you have to, anything you have to do in order to have an 18" OEM steel fan, thermostatically-controlled fan clutch and a full fitting shroud. Make certain that you have enough holes in the engine bay to allow the hot air to escape.
