Dave the Monzas did have the V8 option but the Vegas and Monzas ran an in tnak pump (yes even on the 4 Cyls). As I recall from back when I had mine it was either frame interference or interference with the Hurst elephant ear motor mounts.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
