Is Jack's standard AC a Southern package? Knowing him he may have bought a bunch of their units at deep discount, knowing that he'll use them anytime someone selects the AC option on their build. I would hope his guys know how to hang and hook up a VA package, too. If you're going to "veer off the option sheet" you might want to review exactly what you want in the way of controls and vents, too. There're several options with VA, and I would recommend that you get the "defrost" option, too. A closed coupe will fog up in a heartbeat, at least it will here in the heartland weather.
