    How much free play do you have at the pedal when the clutch is engaged??? (pedal up, not pushed in)

    O, It has lots. It wont start disengaging until I push the pedal about half way down.

    Theres you problem,adjust it so youv'e got about an 1 to 1 1/2 inch free play.

    Figured that might be it... Thanks for the help Howard--poor kid trying to get his clutch to work and here I am lollygaggin around the coffee shop with the rest of the geezers!!!!
