What is the "universal Corvette master cylinder" based on?

I have what is often referred to as an "universal Corvette Master cylinder".
It is leaking, so I'll try a rebuild kit.

It is an 1 1/8" bore for power brakes.

But the Corvette M/C rebuild kits are for two types: one kit for 67-76 models and another kit for 77-82 models.

What Corvette model years are the universal Corvette master cylinders usually based on?
