I've balanced 4 different 383s since this started and all the bob wts were 1700 +- 20 grams

The one piece seal cranks are internal front external rear needing a weighted flywheel/flexplate

the 2 piece seal are internal front and rear and none of them needed any mallory---the scat and callies cranks have drilled rod journals which make them easy to balance without adding weight---does the howard have a big hole drilled thru the middle of the journals???

The GM seal adapter you need is #10051118 plus seal, gasket and bolts/dowel pins

I haven't got to the K teck ones yet

Gary--clean out your PM box so messages can come thru

We have those rods at a better price than CP and also if you need dog bones and holddown for roller lifters we have reclaimed ones from our core supplier(used)
