.....besides using a large claw hammer to put a "chip or two" in it for an insurance claim, the Bon-Ami works well. It is an abrasive and will leave some residue that washes off easily, but be careful with how much you scrub. I've done my truck, and it needs it again, as well as other cars when sap and air borne goo collect and all the wipers do is smear.Dave W
