Building some Locking Spare Tire Mounts for my Trailer.

I'm building some locking spare tire mounts for my trailer.
I should have already been on the road towards Nevada but things keep poping up.
I guess nothing ever really goes as planned so I am still in Florida making some last minute mods to the trailer to help on my trip. The good thing is, I didn't have to buy any thing, I just used a bunch of scrap I had laying around. I have already got all the steel cut, I just have to weld it together. Love those Bull hole saw's I got, they made easy work of cutting holes thru 1/4 inch steel flat bar for the locking mech.
I'll post a link with some photo's later.

Well I got one done and welded all up.Got to dark to take a finished photo though.
I do have some before it was finished, but that will give you a idea how I did it,
It does work better then I thought it would though.
I'll get some finished photo's tomorrow.
Very cool that they came out so good.

Hey Stovens; Well I got alot of stuff done today, I welded a rack on the front of my trailer today so I can mount my ranchero up in the air.
Since I have no axles under it, I wanted to get it up so I can pack stuff under it like ladders and sticks of steel.
So if all goes right and I can get every thing loaded and my doors back on the Ranchero I should be leaving by monday.
I got some finished photo's of the locking spare tire mount up now.

Hey Don;Gonna take I - 75 up to I - 10 west all the way out, then pop up in to Nevada.
My house is about a half hour west of Vegas, So I'm in the south tip of Nevada.
It's close to both the California and Arizona boarder's so I'll be close to all the good junk yards.

Thanks rspears: Sorry it's taking me so long to reply you guys but I've been very busy out in the shop.
And there is no computer out there, so I only answer on my little breaks. I gotta get back at it so I can get out of here by monday.
    Happy Momorial Day Everyone!!!!
