Spotted a garage sale yesterday Well the wife spotted it and asked Why I didn't stop... Soooo I went back to look. It was a stock car owner selling out. WOW I was in heaven looked around and asked if he could hold stuff for me till today... At 8 AM I was in his driveway. 400 block with crank damper and flywheel, 350 block (4 bolt) ford 9" 454 gears axles and housing. sbc valve covers and a bunch of other STUFF( got to have stuff) $210.00. I know I'll be back there tomorrow as he said what dosn't sell will go into a dumpster. I thanked my wife.

that is a great sale. wish there were some like that around here. be sure to find something nice for your wife.

Good sale! All we ever get around here are ones with velvet paintings of Elvis and pots and pans.

I did hit one some years ago that was really good. A Ford mechanic had passed away and his family was selling off all his tools and parts. I had to run to an ATM to get more cash and bought a lot of MAC and other tools. When I told them I was into Fords they carried out boxes of new bearings, pushrods, and other parts and gave them to me free. Wish I could find another one like that.

We were on our way to Chicago when we found the sale, on our way home last night around 11PM, we stoped at the bank to get cash. pot and pans and kids cloths thats what is at most of them here.
