Spikeo, I think you're on to something. There are a lot of skills involved with a build, and many of them would fall under the heading of Fabrication. I can see some step-by-step posts where someone documents every step of a process, and explains the challenges they faced and how they overcame them. Possibly a "training post" on shrinking metal, or TIG welding, or on creating a replica part when the original is no longer available. Someone has a question about different "consumer grade" welders...get some feedback from users of them. Curious about an english wheel? Check out the thread that details a simple project with one. This section could be quite informative, and a place to post questions when something isn't working out like it is supposed to...someone with experience can lend some advice. You've got my vote!
