i have a 50 chevy with a bbc in it i used a camaro front steer front sub over 20 years ago when there was no kits that i knew of .my car works great to think about putting a rack in it is nothing i ever would think of. GM did all the hard work for me and the stock box works great. the only thing is the front track is a bit wide BUT a bbc falls in and that would be hard with the stock front frame and have headers that i wanted to use and get the blower under the hood as the engine sits much lower in the car and really handles great . if i am cutting the wheels hard going up a steep drive way they will rub . fat man makes a shorter upper and lower A arms i may buy some some day . there alot of ways you can go there many out there now making parts for the stove bolt chevys
