I use to work for a car wash manufacture and we use to make and sell our own detergent which used alot of different chemicals. We had and old clark fork lift to unload the chemicals from a 18 wheeler. This fork lift had no brakes and we had to use a portable ramp to load and unload product. When you unloaded you get about halfway down the ramp and then throw the forklift into ist gear to second gear to slow you down. I hired a new kid and after showing him the ropes of how to stop the forklift he unloaded the truck. On the next to last load he ran out of propane and I sent him to get another tank. He attached it and I told him I would unload the rest. For some unknown reason he thought we were through and pulled the ramp back from the truck. Expecting to down the ramp, I went down alright about 15' and upon hitting the ground the fork lift rolled over and put its forks through the side fo a brand new caddy belonging to the president of the company. I walked away with some cuts and bruses but the kid walked away with a broken nose after I finished "talking with him".Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!
