That perch is a forging, as Pops said, heat and bend/twist, no need (nor desired) to cut. Be mindfull of both horizontal and vertical alignment with spring eye.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
