I'm not a bodyman, but will offer something until one sees this and posts. Two ways to repair something like you describe. You can rework the metal that is there, or cut out a section and put in a new panel. Some patch panels are available from various vendors, and is often the easiest way to go, and you are working with new metal.

Never figured out why but theres just not very many patch panels available for those coupes. As popular as they are you would think you should be able to buy anything you needed for em. More than likely you'll have to find a metal guy to make one,or get yourself a bead roller with the proper size die and a tipping wheel and study some u tube videos and you should be able to fashion up a suitable replacement.
