I'd say try expanding the clips a bit. If that doesn't work, a few (you want to hold it in place, not bond it forever) dots of silicone adhesive.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
