This is the cap I'm using (16lbs.)

Going by the gauge on the dash (old SW Deluxe), she stays around 190* and goes up to 200* on warm days.Quote:
What temp is your engine running at? Are you getting warmer at lights or going down the road?
On extremely hot days, she'll push 215-220* at lights.
It's roughly the same going by the thermocap.
It was the first thing I checked :oQuote:
Oh, and make sure your overflow hose from the radiator goes to the correct fitting on the bottom of the overflow tank. It should go to the lowest one when looking down into the overflow tank. The theory is, the excess coolant rises and eventually will come out the taller tube. If you are hooked up to the wrong one it will spill out much faster onto the ground.
I'm not overly concerned about it since I check my fluids before every outing and it only happens on extremely hot days :HMMM:
I just don't want it to puke on the ground at shows or the track :o
The front tank is more for aesthetics than anything since the usual SS bar is kinda boring
If I can get it to catch some puke, then it's a win win for me
Yeah, I cross posted as this forum tends to go down more than a cheap hooker
