Just for s's & g's, how about a little "shade tree logic"? The key word(s) is water temp. Now, I ain't an egineeer like some of y'all, but it seems to me that the best indicator of overall, average engine temp would be to take the water temp at the spot in the engine where it is the average hottest, just ahead of the thermostat where the returning water all comes together before heading to the radiator; between two exhaust valves in the head, even though it is in water, will give you the temp at that point only. I know, y'all prolly already had that figured without sayin' it, but I just thought I'd poke it out there anyhow. I'll duck and cover now and put on my thick skin so's you can throw things at me and call me names.:eek:
And, Mike, thanks for the lead on the symbols; that's gonna keep me busy for a spell. :3dSMILE:
