Accessory Switch/Relay Question
My EZ Wire kit included a dash mount GM type keyed start switch, with the normal BAT-IGN-ACC-START lug connections. The wiring harness has a good sized (No 10?) ACC Power wire from the switch to the fuse block. I am seeing that if I use some other type of switch arrangement the ACC function needs to switch a relay. Is my understanding correct that the GM type starter switch has switching capability that will handle the high amp load of the accessories, so no relay is required; but if the accessories are switched independent from the starter switch the relay is necessary so that the on-off switch does not have to be so bulky (60 to 80 amp capacity)?Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

Much better to use a relay than the switch
