I always put the line lock in the front line, soooo I could operate the clutch and gas pedals..... Oh wait, I don't need to use the clutch. HEHEHEHE I was told the same ting about power shifting many years ago. They never demonstrated this technique tho... And to this day it has me scratchin' my head.

Reminds me of a story... got a minute??

Back when.. some friends and I was racin' 1/8 mi. I had a small block at the time with 4spd. Had a diaphram clutch you the one with many little pressure plate fingers... If I ran it over 6500 or 7000 RPM the dern cluth pedal would stick to the floor from centrifical force. When I got back to the pits this (uninformed Person) "I'm being kind here". Proceeded to explain to me how to shift. and tellin' me I don't know how to shift??? I contained myself.\
That week I replaced the pressure plate with a 3 finger pressure plate. Went back to the track and it shifted great. Pull on the shifter (verticle gate) Tap the clutch @ 6500 and by 7000 to 7500 I'm in the next gear. (Isn't that how you power shift?)
Anyway.... when I got back to the pits this same (Uninformed person) again I'm being nice. said to me "soooo I see u been practicin'". Why i didn't deckm' right there I don't know... Maybe cuz he wuz biggern' me
