    mudtang II question

Tried a search with no luck . Can any one tell me how wide the mustang frame is where the IFS attaches .Speedways universal kit , 56 1/2 " hub to hub will fit 24"-30" frame widths and 60 " hub to hub will fit 27 1/2 ' - 33 1/2 " widths Any one know of a site that might have mustang frame drawings with dimensions ? I'm thinking of taking my straight axle out of my rat and replacing it with an IFS.

Hi, The inside to inside frame is 27.250",but the crossmember can be widened, easier to do if it's not by the rack mount bolts. You can go 2" wider and still retain the original rack, but change the tie rod ends to Ford Fairmont ends, longer threaded portion.
