When I did mine I used vellum paper. It`s used in drafting and you can see through it(tracing paper?). You mark out the flames you want on one side of car, when your satisfied with the look you want, you lay the paper over them and trace the outline with a "grease pencil". Flip the paper over on the otherside of the car,tape it down and rub the backside of the lines wth some thing hard and smooth (coin).the lines will transfer to the car.Just tape it out and paint.
