    A '37 Chevy truck has an I-beam axle, you need a dropped axle, not spindles.

    I was looking at both options, if they are available. About the only place I've found for a dropped axle is at www.droppedaxle.com

    didn't know if spindles were a viable option

    I was attempting to find any, or all, options. I agree, probably the best was is the drop axle.
