    Motor/Frame Mounts

     



    I have a 1972 chevy camaro and i would like to get better mounts for the motor and frame then the stock ones does anybody know where i could get some it has a small block 350 i tried summit racing and jegs but they only have 73 and up

    Poly mounts - haven't used them personally, but look okay

    Hi Glen.Not sure if what I am going to post applies to this.I have a friend that replaced his a-frame bushings with poly ones.He said the squeaking from them drove him nuts.He even tried to drill and tap for grease fittings and couldn't get them to quiet down.He ended up take them back out.They where from Energy Suspension and good quality.I would think as the engine torques against these mounts it would make some noise.

    Maybe this poster could use a cable to limit the rotation of his engine to still use his stock mounts.
