Do not purchase "racing" seat belts until you are actually going to use them because they are date coded (they only have a two year "dated life"). You need to make sure they are installed "as per NHRA" current spec. Note that NHRA rules seems to set the safety standards for many other racing sanctions.

The SCAT pro car seats are not racing seats IMO. They are more of a comfort seat for street or off road applications. Kirkey is the seat of choice. They also make seats up to 18" wide for the big boys. The seat needs to be securely mounted to the cage/roll bar.
