Up through '36 there weren't body mount pads as such, what was factory was an oiled woven strip that was combined with metal shims, it measures a nominal .125 thick. The '37-40 kit is made of 31 individual rubber pads, sized depending on location, most are .250 thick, several at .375, and a few for special locations that are thicker. If you want to come to the shop this week I can show you both types, I've got a complete '39-40 kit, though not specific to the model 40 the frames are pretty similar. I'll be headed for B'ville Friday, but earlier would work fine.

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
