I'm not familiar with the 7.3 engines too much.....Is there some sort of mount for the filter housing that could possibly be warped or cracked???? Perhaps the oil takes that long to thin out before it can seep out????? The Powerstroke in my toter has over 150,000 miles on it, and has yet to drip a drop of anything!!!! btw, the engine has always been on Rotella 15W-40....not my oil of choice, but what a (generous) race sponsor supplies.....
