getting old air cleaner chromed
I have a air cleaner from a 30's race boat that I use on my 4 barrel carb. It's ss but pittied and I'm looking for a company that would either chrome plate it by painting or actually do chrome plating .Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

If anyone can do it I would think Advanced Plating could. Their stuff is first rate..................not cheap, but good. They did a steering arm for me years ago and it was $ 100, then I had another company do a roll bar, pulleys, starter cover, and lots more and it was only $ 200 for all that. However, the steering arm still looks like new and the other parts look like the 20 years old plating job that they are. I guess you get what you pay for.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
