I have a napa add on blinker for my truck that has only four wires yellow, green. red, white. I know what each of these wires work. I just installed a e-z wiring harness. My question is there a way to wire in this add on blinker with out the brake lights causing the both the front blinkers to come on like the rear brake lights do when you apply the brakle peddle. The brake light circut is activated by a switch in the brake line. Or am I going to have to change and get one that has 7 wires?

If I understand your question correctly you have the lights seeking a gound through the front turnsignal bulbs?

I was able to correct this on a special utility vehicle application one time by adding diodes "in line" with the wiring. They are about 99 cents a pair at Radio Shack. They are directional, so you need to place them in the correct location, and direction, in the wiring.

Someone will be able to explain it simply, I'm sure.
