Checking Tranny Fluid
How should the trans fluid be checked in a TH400 transmission? Engine running? In park or in gear? Hot or cold? Don't have a manual. Thanks.Leo

It should say on the stick.
Nutral or park not in gear.

engine running - vehicle warmed up and in park .. being dead on the mark is not critical .. i run my ford trans about a pint over full .. helps stop stalls in the morning ..iv`e used up all my sick days at work .. can i call in dead ?
