    How are you going to get around the curved side glass? Lexan?
    There are people who think chopped Merc's are ugly. Just ignore 'em.

    Never had much money .So i just said i will put what i have now and in the future into the s-10. I have had some nice rides in the past. Just can not afford what they want for older cars now.

    If you check out the chopped one in the video, you'll see that he moved the window tracks and opening down and forward. This will eliminate the triangular mirror mounting at the front corner of the window and will allow about a 3 1/2 inch reduction in roof height-with the stock roll-down side glass.

    I was thinking about this idea before, but I guess somebody beat me to it! I think if I were doing it, I'd probably shorten the length of the door as well, because the thicker rear post on the door looks a little odd, to me.

    I've got an S-10, too. The one I have now is my second and I love 'em.

    Good luck with your project and share pics if you are able. I'd love to see 'em.

    Yeah i am waiting for warmer weather. Also need to get a few things for it first before i start.

    the discreet chop on that looked way cooler than the paint and colors used,
    but I wouldn't be rude and say they were ugly.
