This is what I have and what I am trying to do. I have a 305 motor that is carburated. I am getting a 1989 5.7ltr TPI motor. I dont have the $ to do the conversion wireing and the fuel pump I will need so, I am putting a carb on it. I have the intake and carb, the distributer and the fuel pump for it. My question is will I need to change the fluid dampner (harmonic balancer)? If I do need to change the dampner (harmonic balancer), can I just swap the one off the 305 and use it?
