The only mod that needed to be made was a small groove cut for the clamp bolt on the steering column end. It also saved me having to take the original intermediate shaft apart to lube and put a new boot on.
I really didn’t think there would be much difference, but you can actually feel that th steering is smoother now with the different shaft.I've NEVER seen a car come from the factory that couldn't be improved.....
