Last week I posted a blunder on my steering column, where the threaded end mushroomed in an attempt to remove a 69 year old steering wheel.
Fortunately I found a new tool which is a hinged die that will clamp bellow chowdered threads and back off cutting new threads. My choices were limited to replacing the entire column or this! So I thought I'd share in case someone else could benefit from this, and invite others to post cool tools too.
