Hey everyone New here need your help

I have a 72 chevy swb truck, i installed a 94 LT1 motor in the truck, it runs and sounds good, BUT I'M NEEDING YOUR KNOWLEDGE. Im realy worried about how to wire in this Altenator correctly. here is what I have so far.
the Alt is for a 94 corvette (150 amp) LT1 it has B+ post and the it also has a spot for the LT1 electrial plug, now YES i have the LT1 wire harness and it has been modified for this application.
and here I dont want you to think I know everything because here is my downfall... I dont know **** so with what you know right now, can someone please tell me how this Alt needs to be hooked up. hey you can even draw a pic if youd like, (you may see soon enough the only way Im going to understand is a pic). now also to throw in what else may come up, the instrument cluster in my truck is all original style gages, so the wire harness from the 72 truck has a wire that comes from the Amp gauge I think this needs to hook up to the Alt?, is this correct?, and ok if this is correct, where would the wire from the Amp gauge connect to? would it be the B+ post on the Alt or would it go to the engine harness plug from the Alt, becuse the Plug has 4 wires coming out of it but 3 are stubbed (cut off) and the one wire on the Alt plug from the engine harness of the LT that is plugged in is for, from what I seen from Streetrodperformance web site, is to be used without using a idiot light. So sorry for the long post but back to my original question

how do you wire a Alt. correctly for my truck

thank you everyone for your help, please let me know
