I think some folks don't take the time to service the carb correctly and any little bit of dirt or even a small scratch can really mess thing up!

As per my ol' dad - "The demands of the services nor the importance of the job are never such that we can't take the time to do it right!" - or, if you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?
