My tack is a 3 3/8 wing series analog tach... It was not working when I got the car, a msd 6al with tach adapter and distributor were just installed prior to me buying the car, ell after a little research learned that the tach adapter was not needed and it was wired incorrect anyway.. so I took that out and hooked the tach straight to the tach output on the msd box... that tach worked but seemed sluggish as if it was a liquid filled gauge. I found that there are four dip switches in the back of the tach.. does anyone know what the settings for these are and if they would have anything to do with the speed at which the tach reacts? anyone have any insight on this slow responding tach? I would appriciate it
