    Subaru gas guage

     



    1985 wagon, anyone have the trouble shooting technique for the gas gauge? The gauge stays on empty

    Simple....diconnect the wire from the sensor at the tank and ground it with the ignition on,if the gauge now goes to full it's the sensor unit.

    Thanks but I need this sender isn't like the one wire old american cars. This sender has 2 wires plus a ground making three.
