Try autolock. They have 12 volt linear actuators in different lengths and strengths, with built in electric cut-off switches. Not cheap but excellent quality. I have one on the side tilt bed cover on my roadster pickup.---BrianOld guy hot rodder

well i not brain but mcmaster-carr has many of them and you may go on line to shop there not cheap

Or you could go to or call your local auto salvage, cars are filled with different types of actuators in them. And save $$$$$.
