Well it did not cool a 283 ci in my 1960 Willys pickup.I had to buy 18x20 Fuidyne.Stock radiator for Comet I think.Electric 2800 fan still did not do it.Denny and just about everyone else said I needed a shoule. They were right.Never a problem since.I will look for the info if you want. Marco Check out my old posting.Last edited by marco; 12-08-2008 at 01:53 PM.

Doing some other research Its bigger than an early Rustang Rad. This is going into a 48 Jeepster. I also have a 53 Willys wagon with a 360 mopar.that I spent 2 years cooling.Mechanical fan works better than electric A good Shroud, 2core alum radiator. Finnally solved it by Venting the hood. I also Have a 55Truck 327ci with a louvered hood ( I learned) The piture is old The panel in it is now my avitar, Both the wagon and truck have changed some also. I like yours Marco But I do have a soft spot for These Willys

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
