    Fuel tank sealers

I'd like to hear a few opinions on this. I have used the Bill Hirsh stuff with decent results but it looks like there are many others..I had to drop the tank on my 64 Fairlane yesterday and it's prety grim although there's no sign of rust. Just the nasty stuff from sitting forever in a 28K/ 44 year old car.
I remember when hot rods were all home made.

RedCote by Damon Ind. We use it on all of our bike tanks, GREAT stuff, never had any issues and fairly cheap. You can get it thru O'Reilly auto or strat from Damon Industries, do a search asI'm in N.W. Indy for the weekend, not at the shop in E. Tenn!!

I have used both POR 15 and Eastwood gas tank sealer kits. Had great results with both.

Eastwood three - part sealant kit.
I've heard good reviews on it.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
