    Heck, a brand new Edelbrock 3-2 intake is under $300.00.... With some searching the carbs and kits can be had cheap....

    Thanks guys, but I'm not interested in another 3 duece set up. Just happend to see this in speedway and thought it was just as you say, something that wouldn't work. I've had 3 different 3 carb set up's on my 305 and they all worked OK, but the 600 cfm 4 barrel carb gave me the best working carb.
