Hello Everyone, either tomorrow or the next day I'm going to rent an engine hoist & put my 392 Hemi into my '32 Ford {turbo 400 trans}. Just finished the motor mounts & the mock up engine is installed. Is there anything that I need to be careful of? Watch for? I've pulled engines out before but never put one in. The transmission is already in the car. Is this the correct way; 1) bolt flex plate on to crankshaft hub & bolt the trans to engine adapter onto the engine. 2) push Torque converter onto transmission shaft {after filling with oil}. 3) put the motor in 4) bolt up the transmission to the engine 5) then bolt the tq converter to the flex plate.
