Here's another thought.
I'm real sure this would be hard to fill. With the smaller tank bottom bellow the main tank....but filling the main tank. Will this work? Also...piping from one to the other....what size neck and hose would you guys use. The hose will have to be fuel safe. 2"? 3"? I can use 2"X 30" aluminum pipe between the two....with short rubber pieces at the ends to tie to the tank.
Any thoughts?

Problem solved I think.
Weight transfer.
Large capacity...30+ gallons
Keep most of bed.
Nothing hanging from bottom.
Have to buy my wife some Italian platform shoes. :D (BTW...she reads my posts....so I'm just teasing her)

The only thing that worries me a little is how I'm going to attach the bed wood above the tank. Thinking about using a 1/8" plate over the tank only....and placing the bed stip bolts thru it. I'll lose about 1/2" space for the nuts to clear the top of the tank but I can live with that. Cross sill are out of the question unless I'm willing to raise the bed another 2". Not sure that'll look right.

I suggest you build a little bath tub around the EFI pick up to make sure that fuel stays around it on acceleration when the fuel level gets below the upright part of the tank. Would be real easy to do, here is a picture of one sold by Tanks Inc as an example.

The Tanks unit has a small hole in the end of the tray....they call it an auxillery feed...thats all thats in the notes. I'm not sure why you would want a feed in the bottom unless theyre talking about the return line. If so, I'd rather use the verical return line. I'll have to call them.

I'm not plugging along as fast as I had been.....I dislike cold weather. Worked outside in it for years so I'm a little spoiled with my recent desk job. But I am still getting out.
I took the tank drawings and the batwing from the vette rear to the guy thats doing my tig welding. I'm starting to get exited. Hope to start the motor soon.
I'm barely able to type....eyes keep slamming shut. Hope you enjoy that nice weather!
