looks cool. maybe i missed some information, but the front looks very much like a newer mustang. is that a modified bumper from an 05+?

the only problem with a snap on cover is that means you have to have the ugly snaps mounted on the car. maybe you could use a strap on canvas cover for a jeep (the one that covers just the open area to leave it parked). that may not fit too well though, but I'm sure something similar is made for roadsters.

this is a real drawback. We had though of the strap on. California Car Cover offers them custom made, but they look kind of ugly/flimsy.

it may be ugly but its only for when its sitting, not cruising and you won't have the ugly snaps while you're cruising or showing it off uncovered . if it had snaps I might think its a boat

Welll for a while last summer it was a boat.

Yeah I know what you mean about athe ugly snaps showing. I have a friend with a Lotus and it uses a chrome strip/channel/angle thingy on the winshield to hold the front of the top and the whole thing just rolls up and ties into a boot in the back. We had thought of that too, that way it could be used as a top for crusing also.

Ths straps are not out of the picture yet but keep those ideas coming.

I think that we punish ourselves because we hope we can see the big picture. What we hope it will turn out to be. Its that or either we are Masochist.

A person who would spends time getting filthy, bashed, busted, and burnt just to have a rolling money pit has got to be very Masochistic indeed

Sorry to overlook your question, Yes I molded both front and rear bumpers from an 08 mustang. To be really confusing to everyone I also molded in C5 vette tailights. There is not much left of the 76 Mustang II. Which in my opinion is not a bad thing.
