    Don't just use a similar sized bolt, you need that shaped one to fit perfectly and hold things tight. You can either chop off the top of the old perches so they are smooth, or places like Total Performance make smooth topped ones. You also need the little adapter that comes with them for the bottom so the nut will not hit the inside of the wishbone. It is tapered on the top and flat on the bottom for the nut to cinch up against.

    Here is the one I used from Total Performance.
