Purchasing parts on ebay
I bought two Holley 750's on ebay and got junk both times. Why a second time? The first guy gave me a refund. Now, it's back up for sale on ebay. Anyone else have any luck? Good or bad?

Don't trust anybody unless they don't know what they're talking about. If they're professional salesmen or know what they're selling, they know just what to lie about to get you to buy it.

Before you buy anything from anyone on ebay, make sure they have a lot of positive feedback and little or no negative feedback.
Make sure you post feedback about the seller explaining the problem.Andy

Buying a used carburetor is always a gamble. If you are buying sight unseen then don't pay more than junk price for it without first getting a gaurantee and checking their feedback. Don't deal with anyone with a lot of bad feedback. Don't even give them the chance to lie to you.
I have 114 positive and one negative from a guy who didn't pay for his purchase. I don't think that's very important. As long as everyone else was happy.

I have bought many parts off of ebay without any problems untill now,its been almost a month and no part or return email from the seller. Over 160 purchases and one bad one,not too bad I guess. As for carbs I buy new,the only time I will take a used carb is if its free. Jeff
