    Repairing an MSD 6A

     



    Here is a shot of my MSD 6A. As You can see the 2 resistors are blown. MSD has refused to fix this even though this box has never been used. (out of warantee) I even offered to pay for the repair but they said they don't do this.

    I forgot to take a picture of the whole board but this is at the end where the wires come out.

    I can do this kind of soldering but I'm not real sure of the value of the resistors. ie what to ask for when I go to get them. Allied electronics and Radio shack may have them.

    Somewhere I saw a post where a guy had done this or a similar repair but I couldn't find it here with search..

    what do y'all think??
